A raw bar for your wedding, shucked by the farmer.
Oysters hand-harvested from our own farms in Plymouth and Duxbury, shucked to order for your guests from a little Japanese kei truck or our one-of-one raw bar boat. It's the part of cocktail hour people still talk about.

Why couples book the truck
Your oysters come from our own farm, harvested for your date, not ordered off a truck from somewhere else. Connor and the team shuck every one to order, so guests get them cold and fresh and can ask where they were grown.
And the truck itself is a photo moment. It parks beside the cocktail-hour crowd, bed full of ice, and quietly becomes the backdrop half your guests' photos end up in.
How it works
Build it
Pick the truck or the boat, your guest count and what goes on the ice. You'll see an itemized estimate right away.
Hold your date
A deposit locks in your wedding date and comes off your final bill. Summer Saturdays go first.
We pull up
We arrive early, set up, shuck through cocktail hour and pack out clean. You don't lift a thing.
Truck or boat?
The mini truck is made for outdoor receptions, lawns, farms and waterfront venues. The raw bar boat is a tabled setup Connor built by hand, made for tented and indoor receptions where a truck can't go.
Same farm-fresh menu either way: oysters with our house mignonettes, plus local littleneck clams, shrimp cocktail and lobster if you want them.

Questions couples ask
Anything else, write to inquiries@bumpnbrine.com.
How many oysters do we need?
A good rule: about 1.5 oysters per guest per hour for a crowd that's curious, 2.5 for New Englanders, 3.5 if your friends are obsessed. The raw bar builder does the math for you and tells you how many shuckers you'll need.
Is there a minimum guest count?
Full-service raw bars start at 20 guests. For smaller gatherings, our DIY trough comes packed on ice with everything you need to shuck yourself.
Can you do a tented or indoor reception?
Yes. That's what the raw bar boat is for: a tabled setup that fits under a tent or indoors.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you have a date. Peak summer weekends book first, and a deposit is what holds your date.
Where are the oysters from?
Our own farms in Plymouth and Duxbury, part of the Plymouth Rock Oysters family farm. Clams, shrimp and lobster are sourced locally.
